Just a side note about breastfeeding-does anyone have an opinion on the Time magazine cover story? Just wondering what everyone's ideas are on how it was done and all the hype that is going on with it. I'm all for breastfeeding, but not so sure about children of this age-any thoughts?
Susan, I thought it was a stab at Obama, but in old times I know that they breastfed until their kids were at least 4, because my Great grandmother did to my grandfather and his sisters and brothers. I could not do it. At least I think i can't. lol.

ReplyDeleteI totally agree with you breastfeeding is very important specially when it comes to a child's health.Also I really don't don't understand why people see breastfeeding like something out of the ordinary. I consider its the most natural between a baby and mother.
very good post! I hope you do get to change the system. There is a lot of people who are in the foster care business for the money and not for the love and attention that these children need.
